6. Confusing Memories
Suddenly I knew I was safe. I remembered how Dad used to hold his strange things in his arms when I was little and we lived in our house at the time. When I regained my senses, I began to examine the object more closely.
7. Ice cold warning
One of Dad’s former colleagues, a retired physics professor, saw the object. He froze and said,
“I can’t tell you anything.”
That was all it took to really pique my curiosity.
8. What Shouldn’t Be There
When I pressed him, he finally gave a single answer:
“Because it shouldn’t exist.”
Then he refused to say more.
